Howdy

I started with QB in March of 2006, what a learning curve! Add the fact that my last accounting course was Introduction to Accounting 3101 in 1966, and you can see my learning curve getting steeper. I’m third generation retired military, a biker, and stubborn as hell. I work at it until I “get it”.

I wrote a tutorial on basic accounting, if you are fuzzy on the concepts you might consider getting it. The same site also has my QuickBooks Basics tutorial. Give me a visit and see what you are missing >smile<

I kind of specialize in inventory, the way I feel is that if you can’t get a handle on what you are buying and control the costs, you will never grow the business. But that said I dabble in other areas too, use the menu items on the left to wander through my writing – or you can use the drop down category box to read everything in one category.

Don’t forget the glossary, you’d be surprised at how things clear up for you just by reading the definition.

I do not deal with Payroll or POS of any flavor, so there is no need to look for it here, sorry.

I would also suggest you read the Certifications & QB entry so you have some idea of what you are faced with when you go to choose a local ProAdvisor.

And if you want to see just how weird my brain is, my commentary blog:
