I think a Value Added Tax (VAT) is coming to the US pretty soon. The government is in a hole financially, and the hole is getting deeper since the politicians can’t seem to stop digging.

I experienced VAT in Europe when I lived there, but never really understood it, so I thought I would figure it out.
